R1P3 - Day 5

I was all excited about a 'steak day', but it didn't work as well as I had hoped. I've read other people's experiences with a steak day wherein they lose anywhere from 2 to 4 pounds overnight. You can imagine my disappointment when the scale only dipped down .4. At least it was a loss and not another gain! Right!!!

Today I tried for 1500, but didn't quite make it.

Breakfast - 320 calories

1 c blueberries
6 oz greek yogurt
1 oz raw almonds (chopped)
stevia to taste

Lunch - 281
Salad with left over pork chop
1/2 leftover pork chop
2 c lettuce
1/2 c red onions
1/4 avocado
1/8 c feta cheese
2 tbls yogurt ranch dressing

Afternoon snack - 267

2 c cherries
1 oz trail mix

Dinner - 389
2 skinless baked chicken thighs
2 c lettuce
1/4 avocado
1/8 c feta cheese
2 tbls yogurt ranch dressing

After dinner snack - 180

1 c blueberries
2 tbls light sour cream
1/2 oz raw almonds chopped

Total calories - 1,436

By the way....my all time favorite dessert is blueberries mixed with sour cream sweetened with stevia with chopped almonds on top! I had pretty much the same thing for breakfast, but with greek yogurt instead of sour cream. Either way.....it's delicious!
