I'm guessing the steak day worked since I'm back down to were I started from before I blew it, but since I didn't weigh myself after I'm not sure how much I've lost. I'm just glad to be back to where I was before this past week and my non-P2 eating frenzy!!!

I'm back on track now and hope to remain so for the next week. I go off the drops next Tuesday and am hoping to drop into the 120's by then......so I've got to be really be meticulous about the program!

Decided not to weigh myself this morning since I know I gained after attending the wedding last night. This whole past week hasn't been good.....food wise. I've eaten alot of non P2 foods and thus no real weight loss. I'm going to be extra good this last week since I'm due to stop the drops next Tuesday. If I can just be good until then maybe I can get into the 120's! That will only be another 6 pounds and I have 8 days to do it in!

Not as good as I had hoped after an apple day, but then I did a modified apple day. I also had some strawberries.....so that may be the reason. Once again I didn't do as good as I could have today. I had a vanilla iced coffee at McDonald's this morning and a few too many grissini tonight, but it's that time of the month and I'm craving anything and everything!!!

R3P2 - Day 16

Yes.....the food free for all I had yesterday caught up with me! I'm not too disappointed, it was a planned thing so I was expecting it. Doing an apple day today to compensate.

My daughters and I have decided to do a 10 pound challenge. We've challenged each other to see who can lose the 10 pounds the fastest. The winner gets a prize of their choice. My youngest daughter wants to pick out any swim suit she wants out of the Victoria Secret catalogue. My oldest daughter has yet to decide what she would like her prize to be. Personally, I think losing the 10 pounds is prize enough for me! But then again.....a nice massage would feel really good!

We have another wedding to go to this Saturday and I know I'm going to blow it again. It's so hard to go to a catered dinner reception and then sit there and not eat. I will try to make better choices than I did last night. But really......who can resist wedding cake???

My husband went on the program with me for 2 weeks. His schedule changed and he has to be out of town this week and it was just too hard for him to stick with it. He did manage to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks and that while having flavored creamer in his coffee every morning and his daily 'cheats' in the afternoon, usually peanuts or hot tamales. I was proud of him for sticking with it for 2 weeks. Will he keep it off?????  Probably not. He broke the diet with a large fry and cheeseburger! He will, however, have a totally different view of what I've gone through and what I still struggle with.

I was looking at some old pictures this morning just to remember how far I've come on this weight loss journey. It's sad actually to see how miserable I was even when I was trying to have fun. I wasn't comfortable in my clothes, not for that matter with myself. Looking at those pictures helps me to keep my resolve that I never, ever want to be in that position again. I like where I am right now. I like how I look. I like who I am. I'm comfortable with me!

I have lots of overweight pictures of me, but I'm waiting for some of the newer ones so I can post the difference. I had become so camera shy that even though I've lost weight, I don't have any pictures. We went to a wedding recently and I'm waiting to get back some of those to post.

R3P2 - Day 15

Wow!!! I'm at my lowest weight since I can't remember when but it must have been shortly after my husband and I got married 12 years ago! I wish I could say I did good today but I didn't and I knew in advance I was going to blow it today. We had a gathering at 12:30 and with picking up the dogs from the kennel and then rushing to get there, I didn't have time to make anything. I was starving so I ate things I should have. Peanuts, 1/2 a roast beef sandwich, a slice of pizza.......and the list goes on! I guess we'll just have to see what the scales say tomorrow.....it's probably going to be an apple day though!

R3P2 - Day 14

I was out of town today so wasn't able to weight in this morning. It's always a scary thing when you can't weight in for a couple of days. I don't know about the rest of you but I start to imagine the weight piling back on again! Like I could gain 40 pounds overnight?????  Anyway. I did pretty good today. I did fudge a little and had creamer in my coffee in the morning, but I ate according to protocol the rest of the day.

I was amazed at how many people who hadn't seen me in a while came up to tell me how good I looked. I think sometimes we forget just how much weight we've lost because we see ourselves every day. One woman I hadn't see in over a year asked me what magic shrinking pill I had found. It was a nice ego boost.

Even after yesterdays cheats I still dropped weight! That's awesome!!! I'm going out of town today and won't be back until tomorrow night. I have already pre-cooked and packed my dinner for tonight and my lunch and dinner for tomorrow. My daughter and I have challenged each other to see who can lose 10 pounds first. So I'm trying to be very good. Hopefully my hard work will pay off.

Had a bagel with cream cheese mid morning and then a peanut butter and banana sandwhich at about 3. So I'm not going to try and calculate how bad I did. I'm sure I'll pay for it tomorrow!

Hmmmm....... .2????? Haven't decided if I want to try another apple day or if my body is finally catching up from the last one. Think I'll give it till Sunday to see how I do. I'm going out of town Friday and Saturday, but I'm bringing my food with me. I'm hoping I don't cave! And next Saturday......another wedding! I just hope my will power in more on track then it's been so far this round or I'm going to have trouble when faced with all that food, not to mention the cake!!!

I've got a friend who is on the program and has just finished round 1 and lost 19 pounds. As a treat she went and had her nails done. I was thinking....wow....that's pretty cool. So today I went and got mine done. I was going to wait until I reached my goal of 125, but I've already lost 40+ pounds and figured, what the heck, it's time to celebrate my achievements! It was a wonderful treat for all the hard work in sticking with this program since December.

It's amazing to me that you can chose one item from the lists of food we can eat on this and we're not suppose to be too concerned about the calories and yet some days I barely make 400 and then days like today I go over 500. So I don't know where this will leave my weight loss for tomorrow. Hopefully I'll lose, because otherwise I'm going to be pretty ticked if I gain!!!

Did pretty good on my water intake for today. If I'm up at all tomorrow it's going to be another apple day!

You know, if I were on maintenance I would be pretty happy about the scales staying the same. However, since I'm not......what's going on!!! If I stay the same tomorrow or gain, I'm thinking I'll do another apple day. I hate doing 2 in one week, but somethings got to budge and I don't want to wait for another 2-3 days without progress.....I don't have the days to waste!

Wow, I stayed the same. I usually gain after an apple day ans was expecting it since I had so many grissini last night. In this case, no weight gain is a good thing. I was super good today. Didn't cheat once. A little short on my water today for some reason. I have 12.1 pounds to go to reach my goal, however, I only have 12 days. I doubt I can make that goal in that amount of time.......so I may stick with it for a few more days depending on where I am after the 3 weeks are up. I would really like to be at goal and then done!

Last year about this time I was weighing 179.8. I'm 5'2 1/2, so I was pretty much a blimp! To date I've lost 42.7 pounds, most of which has been on hCG. I've also lost a total of 38 inches. So I'm pretty jazzed. Life is good!!!

I guess the broccoli and zucchini didn't effect me. So I may try adding them again periodically. Today was not a good day. I blew it big time. I had absolutely NO will power today. It started with having half of my daughters everything bagel with cream cheese. But, determined to do better I had chicken, lettuce and strawberries for lunch. Doing pretty good so far......right!?!?! Well, it didn't last long. I had an appointment at 4:00 and another at 5:30 so I decided to eat my dinner early. Steak, tomato and an apple.....and after that, well it got ugly! I decided to try out a new place in town that serves soft serve yogurt and got sugar free vanilla which was pretty good. Then at my 5:30 appointment there was all kinds of food. Sub sandwiches, cookies, trail mix, cake.......and my will power left the building. So you guessed it, I ate a little of everything, so I'm already planning on doing an apple day tomorrow, because I know I'm going to GAIN!!! It's just a matter of how much.

I'm playing catch up with my blog. Have been ubber busy and then the site was down when I was finally able to log on. I was happy that I'm not down to .4 and .2 losses, especially for the first week. I can live with .9 if it keeps it up. I tried something different today. I added broccoli and zucchini just to see if it makes a difference. Again......these foods are not on the program, but some have been able to eat these and still lose weight so I thought I'd give it a try.

I was a little disappointed that by day 4 I'm down to only losing .4! I know this is my third round and I'm down to my last 15 pounds, but.......really???? .4! In looking over my last round, it surprised me to see how often I cheated, even a little. An extra grissini here, an extra piece of fruit there, or even bigger cheats. I'm trying to be super good for the next 17 days. No Cheating!!!

So I've lost 6.2 pounds in 2 days. I had gained 5.7 from my load days but I was up 2 pounds from my LDW in round 2. So I'm almost back to were I was at the end of Round 2. Today was tough! And I mean tough! I was hungry by 10:00 in the morning which is rare. I had some grissini and coffee to ward off the grumbly in my tummy. Also had an apple at about 3:00. I think I'll up my drops starting tomorrow until I can get this under control.

I don't hink I've ever lost that much overnight before! Wow!!! Of course all of it is weight I've gained on my load days. In fact I'm still up .7 from my load days. Wouldn't it be nice if I lost as much tomorrow?!?!? I'm hoping for 2 so that I'm under the 140 mark again.

Some are having success with adding some different veggies to their diet so I tried zucchini this afternoon, just to see.

R3P2 - Day 1

I managed to gain 5.7 pounds on my load days and I had already gained up to the 2 pound limit. So I'm actually starting this round at 7.7 above my LDW of 138.7 for round 2 and I'm not happy about it! I had hoped to stay at the 140 mark or just above it so that it would be easier to get down to 125. However, things didn't work out quite like I had imagined them in my head. So instead of needing to lose 15 pounds this round, I need to lose 21.4. I've never lost that much in a 21 day round before. I think the best I did was close to 19. So we'll just have to wait and see how this round goes. I was hoping it would be my last!

The wedding yesterday was wonderful. I don't think I've ever seen a bride so beautiful. It was an outdoor wedding and other than the wind and the dirt, it was a lot of fun. Very rustic. My daighter, one of the bridesmaids, was stunning.

Since I've been having a problem blogging lately, I'm going to go ahead and list what I'm eating today even though I haven't had dinner yet. I already know what I'm having.

I'm officially over my 2 pound limit but was having company over so I couldn't do a steak day. I'm loading again tomorrow, so I'm just viewing this as a pre-load loading day. I chose tomorrow to start loading because we're involved in a friends wedding this weekend and the festivities start tomorrow with the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The wedding will be on Saturday. I'll start the VLCD on Sunday.

I'm going to cook on Sunday so I can have meat ready for my husband's lunches since he's starting this round with me. I'm hoping I don't gain too much during my load or I'll be needing to lose 20 pounds this round and that would be pushing it!

It's late and I'm tired. Will try to do better at blogging during my last round......hopefully!

R2P3 - Day 20

Not bad considering that I haven't kept track since Day 16......4 days ago and I'm still the same weight! I haven't been counting calories like I did last maintenance, I've just been eating when I feel hungry and eating P3 foods. Except for last Friday......I blew it big time! Sushi for lunch with a beer and junk food that night. Didn't have the guts to weigh in on Saturday morning either but I'm guessing I was up at least 2 pounds.

I'd like to be closer to my LDW or even under before beginning my load days Friday and Saturday. We have wedding rehearsals and dinner Friday night and the wedding on Saturday so I thought those would be good load days. Since I only need to lose another 15 pounds, I'm hoping this will be my last round on the HCG.

My husband has decided to do this next round with me. He only needs to lose about 15 pounds too, so it should be interesting to see if he can handle it and who makes their goal first. Of course, I'm not opposed to losing more than the 15 either! I know that if he sticks with it he'll lose more weight than me. He always does! But this time I don't mind since I'm already down so much. It was a real bummer when he decided to do Weight Watchers with me and he lost 35 pounds in 3 months, while it took me 5 months to lose 20!

This next round should put me at my pre-pregnancy weight, which I haven't weighed in almost 22 years now. My youngest is 21 and I remember I put on 10 pounds as soon as the doctor said 'pregnant'! What a difference HCG has made in my life!

Made a huge fruit salad then added greek yogurt and chopped raw almonds. Yummy!!!

Since I'm getting ready for round 3, I'm not eating as much meat. I've been filling up on fresh fruit and veggies I won't be able to have like mushrooms. I had wanted to start exercising this time on maintenance to get rid of my poochy stomach but things haven't worked out that way. I've literally been swamped and won't see daylight until JULY!!! So I guess exercising will just have to wait until then.
