Even after eating all that trail mix last night I still lost today. I'm not being optimistic about tomorrow. Didn't eat as good as I could have again today. It's been a crappy day today. I started my period and had cramps, which is unusual for me. Felt bloated and puffy. YUK!!!

Not bad considering that I had some nuts yesterday afternoon, so it wasn't an honest steak day. Did much better today so I'm hoping I don't gain tomorrow. Didn't cheat once today. No sugar.....No starch!!!

Crazy weekend.....haven't had a chance to blog. Doing a steak day today because I'm .2 over my 2 pound limit. It's amazed me that with all the cheats I've done recently it's taken me so long to get above the 2 pound mark. But reality had finally set in......
I've got 12 more days on maintenance and then I start round 3. I'm actually excited about another round and losing the last bit of weight.

The scales giveth and the scales taketh away!!! Yep gained back what I was so excited to lose yesterday. I'm still down 1.4 below my 2 pound limit but maybe not for long. I had a really funky day today. Emotionally! Just felt out of sorts today. I may be getting close to that time of the month again. All I wanted to do was eat.....bad things! Anyway.......I ate good all day until dinner than I downed a pound of sesame chicken. I wasn't even hungry. So I made myself sick on it and probably won't be able to look at chicken, let alone eat any for awhile. Tomorrow may be a steak day for me.

I can't believe I lost 1.1 this morning. I am now .5 BELOW my LDW. The last maintenance I had more problems with. My weight fluctuated a lot more and I kept gaining weight. I've been on maintenance for a week already and haven't had to do a steak day yet!!!
My husband took some pictures of me for an event we went to Sunday night. Interestingly, with as much weight as I've lost, 41.6 total, I still look fat!!! I don't know if was the camera angle or what I was wearing, but they were NOT flattering pictures. The only savings grace was my daughter was in them and she looked heavy too and she's taller than me and weighs about 10 pounds less than me. So I'm hoping I really don't look that bad. But I have to say, it was a blow to my new smaller me ego. Made me glad that I'm doing another round to get off the last 10 to 15 pounds! I better not look fat in those pictures.....

I have 19 more days on maintenance before beginning Round 3. I'm actually looking forward to it because this should be my last. I'll only need to lose between 12 and 15 more pounds and that should be easy on a 21 day round. I can't wait to get down to pre-baby weight after all these years!

Down to .5 below my LDW. I like the breathing room and I'm going to need it. Blew it big time today. It started out good. I had a ham and cheese omelet for breakfast, then a bowl of fresh fruit. For lunch I had some greek yogurt with strawberries and almonds.......from there it went down hill. For dinner I ate the left over sesame chicken I bought at Wal-Mart the night before. Then we were at a kind of get together and I had 2 tangerines and 2 packages of string cheese.....not too bad your thinking. All of it P3 foods your thinking......but wait.....things turned ugly! There was the trail mix with raisins and M&M's, the bacon biscuit, the cupcake, and 1/2 a choc chip cookie. What was I thinking.......All I know is that I'm going to pay for this tomorrow. I'm hoping I don't have to do a steak day......but we'll see!
So...yeah....my calorie count was somewhere over the 2000 mark and this is only day 3! I've got to get in back in control or I'll be way over my 2 pound limit. Here's to sticking with it tomorrow!

I'm down .7 from my LDW, which may be a good thing. I'm always stressed about how I'm going to do when I start on maintenance! You go from eating so little to eating alot! I stayed within my 2 pound limit the last time....so I know I can do it this time. It's interesting to go back and see what I actually ate during P3 last time. Some days were good, others weren't. Not that I ate non-maintenance foods, it's just that I didn't always make the best choices. I have a tendency to eat a lot of fruit and yogurt. This time I'm trying for more protein and veggies. I also have a thing for raw almonds so last time I had them almost every day, which, since i stayed within my limit wasn't a bad thing......I guess! Switching gears is hard. That's why I like P2 best. I KNOW what I can and can't have. It's simple. Stick with it.....lose weight. I know that P3 is suppose to teach you to naturally eat what's best for you, but it still freaks me out!
I've decided to become a distributor of hCG. I've been toying with the idea for months, ever since I started on the program and had such fantastic results, but was dragging my feet. I've had so many of my friends want to know where to get it and no one in our area sells it. I purchased mine from a friend of a friend in CA. I like the drops with the amino acids in them. Those that I've talked to seam to have more success with them than the drops without them. So I finally found a wholesale distributor. Ordered in bulk on Monday, received it today. Incredible service. I've also have a web-page, although it's not up and running yet. My daughter is a web page designer so she'll finish it for me and hopefully get me up and running this weekend. It's not like my life isn't busy already. I already have a job that keeps me hopping. But I work from home, so I'm hoping I can juggle them both. It will be interesting to see how it does.

1 tbl butter
I sauteed the mushrooms in butter than shredded the colby jack over the top and added a little Bragg's amino's for taste.

R2P2 - Day 64
Start weight 161.4
Today's weight 138.7
Gain/Loss -.7
Down but not as much as I was hoping, especially since I stuck to the program perfectly yesterday. So, this round my last dose weight is 138.7. I was hoping to get back down to 137.6 so my 2 pound limit wouldn't put me above 140. Looks like I'm going to have to lose 15 pounds in my next round and I was hoping for more like 10. It shouldn't be too hard to lose another 15 pounds in a 21 day round......I hope!
As to eating today......this was my first day on the VLCD without the drops and I didn't do as good as I could have. I got really hungry about 4 and instead of just having an early dinner......I had brownies and some rice mix. Who know how it's going to effect my weight tomorrow. I guess we'll see!

Okay....so I didn't do as well as I'd hoped on my apple day yesterday. I had 2 apples and some strawberries, which wasn't bad. It was the 1/2 slice of cheesecake with berry topping..... or maybe it was the brownie pop left over from the shower.....or it could have been the second 1/2 slice of cheesecake with berry sauce....or it probably was all of it! To be quite honest I'm surprised I lost at all.

Going back over my blog I realized I have cheated almost every day this past week with all the cooking we were doing getting ready for the shower. I was so happy today to have stuck with the program without cheating!

Yup....you read it right.....up 1.8! I guess it was to be expected. I have not been good this entire week and have skated by, so it was only a matter of time before it caught up with me. Doing an apple day today and maybe tomorrow, depending on how much I lose. We'll see.
I only have 4 apples in the house today and believe it or not we got more snow last night then we have received all year so far. Since the nearest grocery store is about 20 miles away....I'm going to make due with the apples I have and I may have some strawberries too, since I have 7 containers in the frig.
I'm not looking forward to the 3 days of VLCD and no drops. By the 3rd day, I'm starving! I'm hoping the apple days or days will bring me back down to 137, that way my 2 pound gain margin will still be under 140. Can't wait to have my veggie omelet. I miss breakfasts!!!

R2P2 - Day 61

I guess this week has finally caught up with me! But only a little. Why is it that we freak out over ounces.....OUNCES!!! It's like the end of the world. Oh my word I gained .4 ounces!!!
Since my daughter is visiting she has taken it upon herself to redo my blog page and I have to say....I love it. Much more 'me' than the other one.
So....the party is over and I think it was a huge success. Everyone seamed to have fun. We had invited over 50 and had about 36 show up. We were able to have it in the house, with several pieces of furniture moved into other rooms. It was cozy.
How did I do.....not as bad as I could have, but I wasn't a saint either. I had one cupcake, 1/2 slice of cheesecake with berry sauce, 1/2 brownie and some fresh fruit. I also had some punch. After everyone was gone and I was cleaning up I had about 4 oz of wine. For lunch I had 3 oz of turkey and just before the party I had half a sandwich with mustard, salami, ham and provolone. I figured I'd better eat something with protein or all the sugar would make me sick. Needless to say.....tomorrow's an apple day.
Here's hoping I don't gain like a gazillion pounds tomorrow!

R2P2 - Day 60!

Down a little which is surprising after what I ate yesterday. I was hoping it wouldn't take a big toll on the scales and thankfully it didn't.
Tomorrow's the big day. The long awaited bridal shower. We did nothing but decorate and cook today. And yes....I once again ate things I shouldn't have. 2 sugar cookies and some rise crispy treat scraps. My daughter made the rice crispy treats and then cut them with a cookie cutter into heart shapes, so I nibbled on the left over pieces. Other than that I was pretty good. I've had 4.....that's right....4 liters of water today! I'll be glad when tomorrow is over. I'm already planning on doing an apple day on Saturday and Sunday will be the last day I do the drops. I'm hoping to lose whatever I gain after the party. I'm actually hoping I don't gain that much, but we'll see.

Down what I gained yesterday so I'm sticking with my lowest weight yet. I only have 4 more days and would love to lose another 2 or 3 pounds but it isn't likely to happen. Just as long as my 2 pound limit isn't above 140. My goal is to never get above 140 again......EVER!!!!
Ate horrible today. Had a McDonald's ice cream cone mid morning and then 2 oreo cookies in the afternoon. Tried to make it up by eating turkey for lunch and had some strawberries for dinner. I've also had my 3 liters of water today......but expecting a gain for tomorrow!

R2P2 - Day 58

I was expecting a little bit of a gain. Whenever I've lost big in the past I've always gained a little bit back the next day. I'm doing a steak day today because my daughters visiting and she's on the program and needed to do a steak day so I'm supporting her.
I'll be so glad when this bridal shower is over. I'm tired of cooking or having my daughter cook things we can't eat. The house is always smelling like cake, or brownies or cookies! Plus we've been making party favors which are individual containers filled with Hershey's chocolate kisses. How I've managed to lose weight this week with all of this going on is nothing short of a miracle! But it will be over on Friday. I'm already planning on doing an apple day on Saturday to hopefully undo what I already know I'm going to do on Friday night. But I'm going to do a planned cheat. I've already decided what I can have and how much so it will be controlled instead of a face first in the food trough kind of cheat!
Anyway, I'm excited about starting maintenance. I still have another 5 days on the drops and then 3 days off the drops but still on the VLCD, so I actually won't start maintenance until the 13th. I can't wait for breakfast. My favorite omelet with veggies and salsa with a bowl of fruit on the side. Sheese.....here I go making myself hungry again!
Had a talk with my husband about my weight loss this morning and we both agreed that 125 is a good weight for me, but I shouldn't go below that. I'm excited about it. If I look this good now, I can't wait to see what I'll look like then. And the best part is that it's within my reach. If you had told me 3 months ago that I would be within 13 pounds of what I weighed before I had kids I would have laughed in your face. Now 35 pounds lighter and several dress sizes smaller....I am a believer! I should reach goal weight by the end of May. Which means I will have lost a total of 48 pounds since December 12th. However, my beginning weight wasn't my heaviest. Before starting on HCG I had joined Weight Watchers yet again and in the 3 months prior had lost a total of 7 pounds. Let's see.....3 months of Weight Watchers - 7 pounds......3 months of HCG - 35 pounds. What a difference. Right now I'm actually down 41.4 pounds from last fall. If I get down to my goal weight I'll have lost a total of 54.8 pounds wince October of last year. Then all I'll have to do is keep it off.
Having trouble with my water today. I lost track of how much I've had. I usually drink water from my 1 liter bottle and I know I've had 1 of those. Then forgot my bottle so had 2 or 3 20 ouncers, so I think I'm still behind in my 3 liter goal. Although I did have a 20 ounce bottle of LifeWater today.

Wow.....the apple day really worked! Baked a turkey today because I needed the room in the freezer for all the food we've been baking for the shower on Friday! Had too much turkey for lunch and decided to have just an apple for dinner. We'll see how I fare tomorrow.

Wasn't feeling well, so I only had 4 apples today and 3 liters of water. No LifeWater today and only 1 cup of tea and 1 cup of coffee. I made snickerdoodle cookies today for the shower on Friday and had a couple just to see how they turned out. I make them small, almost bite size. We'll see if it makes a difference tomorrow.

I'm within .2 of my lowest weight. I'm hoping to drop below 139 tomorrow, however, I was weak again today and sampled my daughters cupcakes for the bridal shower on Friday. Almost a week of baking getting ready for this party is killing me and I still have 5 more days of baking to do! Hopefully I'll be better tomorrow, although tomorrow is my day to bake snickerdoodle cookies. We'll see how I do.......

Another .2 gain.......Arrrggggg!!! I'm up .9 from my lowest weight. Decided to try a steak day but was so busy I wound up having some rotisserie chicken at about 3:00 this afternoon. Then when i got home at 5:00 my daughter was once again experimenting with cupcake recipes for the bridal shower we're hosting next Friday, so I had to try them. Had 2 without icing. They were to die for! So, while I didn't go over my calories for the day.....I didn't eat what I should have. This bridal shower is going to kill me! I still have to make a double batch of snickerdoodle cookies this weekend and freeze them for the party. It's hard to bake and not try what your making to see if it's turning out okay. Plus, being on mu period, I'm craving chocolate anyway.....did I mention they were chocolate cupcakes?!?
